Dr Jacinta Bridges
Veterinarian BVSc (hons)
Jacinta fulfilled her dream of becoming a vet after graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2005. She began working at South Cranbourne Veterinary Surgery soon after graduation and overtook ownership of the practice from her former boss in 2012.
Jacinta is an experienced small animal veterinarian with a passion for providing a friendly quality service for all clients and their pets. She has a keen interest in small animal medicine, surgery and reproduction, as well as wildlife health. Jacinta frequently attends seminars and conferences to further expand her knowledge and skills.
Outside of work, Jacinta enjoys spending time with her daughter Harper, her Golden Retriever Hadley and family and friends.
Dr Michael Nicolas
Veterinarian BVSc
Michael, or Jack as he is better known, graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2005. Jack’s veterinary career began in rural practices in both South West Victoria and South Gippsland. Following on from his experiences in rural practice Jack joined the team at South Cranbourne Veterinary Surgery in November 2010, before taking over ownership of the practice in 2012.
Jack has vast experience in diagnosing complicated illnesses, helping with behavioural issues and performing surgeries including TTA surgery for cruciate damage in dogs.
At home he enjoys the company of his gorgeous daughter Harper, playing golf and watching his beloved Bombers.
Dr Leah Murray
Veterinarian BSc BVSc
Leah graduated from the University of Sydney in 2014, she has worked at clinics along the Mornington peninsula before joining the team at South Cranbourne Veterinary Surgery in May 2023. Leah is a caring and compassionate vet who loves seeing a variety of both medical and surgical cases. She really enjoys making lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
Outside of work, Leah enjoys horse-riding, spending time with her husband, young son “Fletcher” and their two dogs, two cats, two horses and her cheeky chickens.
Dr Isabelle Taylor
Veterinarian DVM, MANZCVS (Small Animal Medicine)
Isabelle has always had a love of animals and has known from a young age that she wanted to be a vet. In 2015 Isy completed her studies at the University of Melbourne and began working in general small animal practice.
Isy’s career has seen her working at an emergency clinic in Melbourne before travelling and locuming at practices around the UK. While she loved her time overseas, it came to an end mid 2020 as the global COVID 19 pandemic hit and Isabelle returned to Melbourne and started working at South Cranbourne Veterinary Surgery.
Isy’s keen interests are in internal medicine and working through behaviour cases.
In her spare time Isy enjoys ballroom dancing, baking and travelling.
Dr Paula Nguyen
Veterinarian BVSc (hons)
Paula has a keen interest in small animal medicine and loves her puppy consults! She is known to give out just a few treats to her patients during their visits at the clinic!
Paula lives locally with her Sheltie called Louie and horse called Jitterbug.
In her time off Paula enjoys the odd game of golf, riding and competing in horse events.
Gemma Bingham
Veterinary Nurse CVN
Gemma joined the team at South Cranbourne Veterinary Surgery in July 2012 after being in a head nursing position at a Vet Clinic in Berwick. Gemma has a background in journalism but went on to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at Box Hill TAFE in 2011.
In her spare time Gemma is busy learning Japanese and enjoys watching movies and tackling escape rooms.
Gemma is the owner of a cheeky Border Collie named Storm.
Dana Crouch
Veterinary Nurse
Dana’s veterinary nursing career began after high school when she worked for a specialist veterinary surgery clinic. Dana then moved through general veterinary practice finding her way to South Cranbourne Vet in early 2020.
Dana lives locally with her partner and menagerie of animals. She is kept most busy with her brood of Bernese Mountain Dogs that she breeds and shows. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, dining out and watching the Tigers play!
Stefani Thatcher
Veterinary Nurse CVN
Stef is a Qualified Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse who has been working in the vet industry since 2017. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing but particularly surgery where she always strives to provide the highest quality of care to every patient.
Stef has a love for every animal she meets, but is known for having a soft spot for our feline friends. She is a self-proclaimed “Crazy Cat Lady” and loves doting on even the grumpiest of kitties.
Outside of work, Stef enjoys spending time with her family and her menagerie of animals consisting of multiple kitty cats and a Cavoodle.
Kelly Brown
Veterinary Nurse CVN
Kelly is a Certificate IV qualified veterinary nurse who joined the South Cranbourne Veterinary Surgery team in June 2023. She has over 20 years of experience working in the south eastern suburbs. Having been in the industry for so long, she has an abundance of knowledge in all things pet care. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, from reception to surgery and everything in between.
Kelly is passionate about using a fear free approach with all our patients making them feel more at ease whilst in our care.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, twin sons and their Pugalier called Squeezy and Groodle called Abbey.
Katey Moran
Trainee Veterinary Nurse
Katey joined South Cranbourne Veterinary Surgery in December 2023 after moving from Perth and is currently studying her Cert IV in Vet Nursing.
Katey has a background in fear free dog behaviour and is a self-proclaimed Crazy Border Collie Lover.
In her spare time, she enjoys Camping, 4WDing, Hiking, Paddle Boarding and spending time with Ellie the Border Collie.
