We firstly like to thank all our clients for their cooperation and understanding during this really challenging period for us all. The way that you have adapted to our new protocols and safety measures have helped make the changes easier on us all. Our continued focus is on maintaining exceptional care for our patients and communication with our clients while ensuring the health and safety of our staff and the community.

As we begin as a community to navigate the easing of restrictions and what the new ‘normal’ will look like, we are planning ahead to what this means for us as a veterinary clinic. One of our main challenges is maintaining physical distance whilst examining your pets. Unfortunately maintaining physical distance is not possible with owners holding pets for us, hence the reason our nurses have been assisting with this over the past few months. We must also adhere to the government mandate on one person per 4m² in enclosed areas, a challenge for our consultation rooms.

At this stage we are not making any changes to our safety protocols but will continue to monitor the situation and adapt where possible.

Thank you for your continued understanding, the team at South Cranbourne Veterinary Surgery.
